Eagles ‘available’ for an international game — on one condition

Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie is open to playing internationally as an away team in 2026.

PHOENIX — The options are dwindling for the Philadelphia Eagles to play an international game in 2026. But they are open to featuring in one — on one condition. “We are not going to give up a home game,” owner Jeffrey Lurie said Tuesday at the NFL annual meetings.

Lurie noted that the Eagles did that two seasons ago when they played the Green Bay Packers in São Paulo, Brazil. They won’t be doing that again in the near future. For the 2026-27 season, the Eagles are listed at +135 on FanDuel to win the NFC East.

Lurie is up for it. “We think it’s great for spreading the Eagles and the brand. And the league is so correctly directed and trying to become more global,” Lurie said.
