Packers Discussion: Who do you want at pick #52?
Caleb Banks and Dani Dennis-Sutton are two of my favorites, but who are yours?

(Photo by Scott Taetsch/Getty Images) | Getty Images Now that it’s officially the month of the draft, it’s time to lay it all out there: Who do you want the Green Bay Packers to draft with their first pick of the draft? The Packers won’t be picking until the 52nd overall selection, because they traded their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks in the Micah Parsons trade.
Historically, players who are ranked as top-35-ish prospects on the consensus board aren’t available by the 52nd pick. If we want to be realistic, we probably need to pick players outside of that top-35 pool to answer this question. Personally, here are some guys that stand out to me: Caleb Banks, DT, Florida: Banks is a freak athlete who is dealing with a foot issue, but getting a potential Pro Bowl-type talent this late would certainly interest me.
I’m sure the comment section will go crazy if we ever finally take an injury-risk player. Dani Dennis-Sutton, EDGE, Penn State: I can’t believe people aren’t higher on DDS at this point in the cycle. He’s 6’6”, 256 pounds with good production and ran a 4.
6 40-yard dash to go along with a 6. 9-second three-cone. Players like this almost always work at the next level, and he’s got some good film to back him up.
