Report: Steph Curry (knee) targeting return on Sunday vs. Rockets

The former MVP point guard is reportedly targeting a return to the court after missing the last 25 games due to an injury.

After a flurry of injuries riddled the Golden State Warriors over the last few months of the season, the team is finally getting a bit of positive news regarding their All-Star point guard. The Warriors have been without star guard Steph Curry since late January. Curry has missed the last 25 games and counting due to a lingering injury in his right knee.

On Tuesday, it was reported by ESPN's Anthony Slater recieved clearence to suit up for a scrimmage at practice for the first time since suffering his injury. With a successful scrimmage in the books at practice, Curry and the Warriors are now reportedly circling a date on the schedule for his return to the court for game action. According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Curry and the Warriors are targeting Sunday's contest against the Houston Rockets for Curry's highly-anticipated return.

Curry is set to miss a back-to-back on Wednesday, starting with a game against the red-hot San Antonio Spurs and Thursday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
