Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants George Pickens to dump his agent
Jerry Jones is interfering with George Pickens and his agent.
Here we go again. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is butting heads again with agent David Mulugheta of Athletes First. Mulugheta was the agent for Micah Parsons when the Cowboys tried to negotiate with him last season before he was traded to the Green Bay Packers.
He is also the agent for George Pickens. Jones said on Tuesday, via Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, regarding Pickens: โIf he worked without an agent, heโd save a lot of money ... with me.
โ I asked Jerry Jones if George Pickens has said he wants negotiations to go thru agent David Mulugheta. Jones said heโs talked to agents over the years and has no issue doing that. Butโฆ โIf he worked without an agent, heโd save a lot of money.
โ After a pause, he added: โWith me. โ https://t. co/5IXkkSaoC7 โ Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 31, 2026 Jones has mentioned in the past that he has negotiated with players one-on-one during the offseason, including Parsons, whom he claimed he had cut a deal with in early 2025 until his agent got involved.
