This time, general manager Don Sweeney took a trip down to Storrs, Conn. , to ink up the University of Connecticut Huskies’ leading point scorer, forward Ryan Tattle, to an AHL contract. “Providence Bruins General Manager Evan Gold announced today, March 30, that the Providence Bruins have signed forward Ryan Tattle to a one-year AHL contract for the 2026-27 season,” the Providence Bruins wrote in a press release.

“He will report to Providence on an amateur tryout for the remainder of this season. ” Tattle played at UConn for four seasons, appearing in a total of 124 games. In his senior year, he found the back of the net 13 times and had a team-best 19 assists for a team-high 32 points in 38 games.

He finished his Huskies career with 35 goals and 42 assists. Tattle’s UConn team came up just short against his newest teammate Lundgren’s Merrimack squad in the Hockey East Championship late last month. Both players will head to Providence to finish the season with former Boston College forward James Hagens and the rest of the P-Bruins squad.
