The goal is to get him for the first leg against Real Madrid three days later. Kane is struggling with ankle problems. Kane picked up this most recent, undisclosed injury while training with the English national team.

For the Bavarians, not having Kane against Real Madrid could be lethal. In addition, ff the Englishman misses the SC Freiburg match, his chances of taking down Robert Lewandowski’s Bundesliga goal scoring record could take a big hit. Kane has 31 goals in the league this season and would 10 in his final six match days to reach the milestone — a figure that is not unachievable, but also one that will not be easy to get.
