Bleacher Report listed some solid ones around the League, and one sticks out a little more than the rest. The Washington Nationals are a rebuilding franchise, with some solid players that are in the system now that could bring back some big returns. Most notably shortstop CJ Abrams, who has been linked to the Atlanta Braves as a potential suitor.

Abrams is a solid 25-year-old, which might be what the Nationals need to build around, but he is not enough to turn the whole franchise around. Since the 2019 World Series victory, the Nationals have only finished above the last-place team in the National League East was once, in 2024. For the Braves, they currently have Mauricio Dubรณn as their shortstop, but they can use Abrams another way to fit in the lineup.

Abrams had 61 errors over the course of the last three seasons at short, and a change to third base might help him and the Braves, out. The NL East is a very competitive division, with the New York Mets and the potentially for-real, Miami Marlins . Also, the Philadelphia Phillies might be having a bit of a slower start to 2026, but that powerful lineup will figure it out eventually.
