McCutcheon signed a futures deal with the Steelers in January of 2025.
He spent the offseason with the team and recorded a 24-yard touchdown reception against the Carolina Panthers in preseason action. He did not make the 53-man roster but was resigned to the practice squad in September. Not long after, McCutcheon was released by the Steelers.
He then signed with the Titans in October. Former #Steelers and #Titans WR Lance McCutcheon, who had announced his retirement earlier this offseason, had second thoughts and is now signing a 1-year deal with Tennessee, sources say. An intriguing resolution for the 27-year old and a new opportunity.
