You probably won't. Langeliers homered again on Wednesday, taking Braves ace Chris Sale deep on a home run into the left field bullpen. With that blast, Langeliers made history, with still a few more at bats to go to try to add to it.
Langeliers is the second catcher in MLB history to hit at least five home runs through his team's first six games of the season, according to @JayHayKid on X. The first? You've got to go all the way back to 1925, when Gabby Hartnett did it.
Hartnett, whose full name was Charles Leo Hartnett -- leaving us to believe he knew how to talk -- was born on Dec. 20, 1900 and died on Dec. 20, 1972.
