Since his last Octagon outing, Tsarukyan has kept busy, appearing in several wrestling and grappling events. He even made a return to Real American Freestyle wrestling last weekend to settle a score with Georgio Poullas.

It was a rematch that had some heat behind it, and Tsarukyan made sure to close the chapter with a decision win, putting their rivalry to bed once and for all. But that wasn’t the only headline from his evening. While speaking at ringside on Friday night, Mike Perry took the opportunity to make his pitch for a future clash with Tsarukyan under different rules.

However, Tsarukyan has now shifted focus. Speaking to Freddie’s Modern Kung Fu, he said there was only a 50 percent chance of the Danis fight taking place as talks between both parties are ongoing.

Now, it’s been announced that Tsarukyan will return to the wrestling mats on April 18th at RAF08 in Philadelphia. The co-main event will see him take on UFC legend Urijah Faber. The headline bout features Merab Dvalishvili against Henry Cejudo.
