The Bulldogs were eliminated in the NCAA Regional Final on Sunday, falling 4-3 to the Michigan Wolverines. After struggling during his post-draft year in the USHL, then again in 2024-25 in his first go-around with UMD, Gajan had an impressive rebound as a sophomore. The 21-year-old posted a 19-13-1 record, along with a 2.

25 goals-against average, . 908 save percentage, and two shutouts in 33 appearances, all of which are career-bests. As a freshman, Gajan won only seven games and had a measly 3.
