Falcons land Eagles VP Jeff Scott in key assistant GM move

After joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, Jeff Scott is leaving to take on a larger role with the Atlanta Falcons as assistant GM. Scott spent the last five years with the Eagles and was promoted to Vice President of Football Operations for the 2024 season. Previously, he held the position of Director of Football Operations and has a diverse background that includes experience in scouting and football operations, accumulated over his 14 years in the NFL.

The move comes after the Falcons hired former Eagles' scouting department star and former Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham as their general manager under Matt Ryan.
