A QB who spent part of the 2025 campaign with the Panthers has found a new home.

A former Carolina Panthers quarterback has found himself a familiar home. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, free agent Hendon Hooker is set to sign with the Tennessee Titans . The Greensboro, N.

C. native, who played his last two seasons of college ball at the University of Tennessee, spent part of the 2025 campaign with the Panthers. Hooker, the SEC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, was a third-round selection of the Detroit Lions from 2023.

After missing his rookie campaign due to an ACL injury, he appeared in three games in 2024โ€”where he completed six of his nine passing attempts for 62 yards. After being waived by Detroit in the summer of 2025, Hooker joined Carolina as a member of their practice squad. He'd eventually be released in November and finished the season with the New York Jets.
