After one quiet year with Wisconsin and a breakout season at Buffalo, ex-Badgers top recruit Daniel Freitag is going back in the transfer portal.

Daniel Freitag, the former Wisconsin basketball recruit who enjoyed a breakout season at Buffalo after his one year with the Badgers , is reportedly headed back to the transfer portal. Freitag joined Wisconsin as a highly sought basketball and football player from Minnesota, but he averaged just 2. 1 minutes in 14 games during the 2024-25 season, making a single basket.

After entering the transfer portal, he had a very different experience at Buffalo, averaging 19. 8 points, 4. 3 rebounds and 3.
