Joe Burrow, surging NFL ambassador, has Roger Goodell's ear now
Joe Burrow keeps doing solids for the NFL and Roger Goodell is starting to take notice.
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is becoming something of an ambassador for the NFL. After doing the NFL a solid by showing up late to the Pro Bowl this offseason, Burrow was front and center repping the league at the recent flag football event. That event, of course, has 2028 Olympics implications, an event Burrow wants to be on the team for when the time comes.
As it turns out, Burrow has the ear of folks all the way up the chain on this topic, as explained by a certain Hall of Famer. "After the event, he was talking to Commissioner Goodell. The ideas he has growing flag to expanding things in the league.
He takes ownership," Larry Fitzgerald told Geoff Hobson of Bengals . com. "I really liked him, and I'm glad he's one of the faces of the National Football League and that he cares so much about the game and the people.
" Gradually, through Goodellโs recent comments and otherwise, the temperature has shifted a bit on whether NFL players will actually make the 2028 Olympic flag football team. It used to be a flat no . Now, not so much.
