The deal went through on Wednesday with the Washington Nationals , according to The Athletic's Spencer Nusbaum -- it brings southpaw Jake Eder to L. A. Eder was recently designated for assignment by the Nats to remove him from the 40-man roster, but the Dodgers pounced on the opportunity to add him to their team instead.
