’No hiding’ from relegation worries - Exeter's Wareham

The Grecians have gone 14 games without a win and slipped into the bottom four on Saturday after Blackpool's late win over Burton Albion saw them leapfrog the Devon side. They travel to Blackpool on Friday knowing a defeat could leave them as many as five points from safety should the first round of Easter weekend results go against them.
"It's in the back of our minds how many games we've gone without a win," Wareham told BBC Radio Devon. "But in the changing room it's a positive atmosphere at the moment and we believe in ourselves and we do feel like we're going to go there and get a result. "Every game we're going into we know where we are in the table, there's no hiding from that, and we know we haven't got long left to turn that around.
"From myself and all the players all we care about now is going to Blackpool and getting three points, which we feel like we can do. " Exeter into drop zone despite draw with Leyton Orient Exeter City 'sleepwalking towards relegation' Transfer income saves Exeter City from huge losses Exeter's 0-0 draw with Leyton Orient on Saturday ended a five-game losing run. The Grecians have been in the drop zone before this season - they fell to 22nd place after losing 1-0 at Cardiff City on Boxing Day.
However, a run of four wins and a draw in their next five league games saw them climb up to 10th in League One - six points off the play-off places and seven above the relegation spots. But having taken just seven points from 42 available since their last win - a 3-1 victory at bottom side Port Vale on 24 January, Exeter have nosedived back into the bottom four. "We managed to bounce back and get a couple of wins and come out of that," Wareham added.
"I have no doubt in the group of players that we have that we will do that again and I think everyone else believes that. "It's been a really positive few days. It was a positive game I felt against Leyton Orient too.
