And it went incredibly well, as the Phillies righty looked fantastic in 5. 1 innings pitched. Painter allowed four hits, one walk, one run, and struck out eight in a great way to begin his MLB career.

After the game was won, giving Painter his first win as well, the Phillies celebrated the rookie in the clubhouse.
