Fantasy expert consensus rankings (“ECR”) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest Lions bargains based on ECR. Detroit has had a relatively fantasy-friendly roster for several years.
Heading into 2026, experts obviously love Jahmyr Gibbs (RB2 ECR) and Amon-Ra St. Brown (WR5 ECR). Further down the list is where things get more interesting, beginning with Jared Goff (QB17 ECR).
Why is he ranked so low? Well, there are a lot of QBs in the top 20 who realistically could finish in the top eight. That’s how it normally is at this position.
Among his top playmakers, Goff lost only David Montgomery this offseason, though his replacement could deliver comparable results. A healthy Sam LaPorta is, of course, a net plus. If you’re fading QBs early, Goff is one of the best end-of-draft targets.
