Mauricio Pochettino rotated over half his squad on Tuesday night with Matt Freese, Chris Richards, Auston Trusty, Alex Freeman, Sebastian Berhalter, and Aidan Morris all cracking the starting eleven.
Those weren’t the only changes either as Christian Pulisic slid to the middle up top in place of Folarin Balogun. With all the changes it would seem that there’s a lot to be done yet in terms of final roster spots and opening lineups being decided. Unfortunately, the changes weren’t an immediate success as the US failed to score, despite some decent chances, and gave up two goals, one in each half.
