Prep Roundup: Cross pitches shutout for Lawrence County

Apr. 1—KILLEN — Bella Cross was a force at the plate and in the circle for Lawrence County on Tuesday, homering twice and pitching five shutout innings as the Red Devils defeated Brooks 12-0 in high school softball. Cross finished 3-for-3 at the plate with four RBIs, while allowing just two hits and one walk while striking out two to earn the win in the circle.

Alivia Terry had three hits and two RBIs for Lawrence County, while Reagan Smith and Maddie Graham added two hits and one RBI each. — Clements 22, Tanner 2: Olivia Moody went 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs as Clements rolled past Tanner on Tuesday. Hayslee DuBose had four hits and three RBIs for the Colts, while Zailey Moran added three hits, including a pair of triples, and four RBIs.

— Lindsay Lane 10, Lexington 2: Charleigh Reding had two hits and two RBIs for Lindsay Lane on Tuesday.
