What does Commanders GM Adam Peters think about Washington's WRs?
Washington Commanders GM Adam Peters likes the wide receivers' room, but also says there's a 'lot of time to add' before the season starts.
It's not a secret that the Washington Commanders are short on wide receivers. Terry McLaurin isn't the only receiver on the roster, but he is the clear leader in that room. He is always going to be WR1 as long as he is with Washington, so what the Commanders need is someone to take the attention away from McLaurin to spread out defenses.
There have been talks about San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk landing in Washington, but without a clear timeline, the Commanders are still likely to draft a wide receiver next month. General manager Adam Peters was asked about the receiver room at the coaches' breakfast on Monday. Terry's the number one receiver. We brought Treylon (Burks) back, which I'm excited about. I think he's got another level he can go to.
