Georgia high school baseball teams win game by 46 runs

The North Hall High School Trojans (Ga. ) baseball team is one of the best programs on the diamond out of the Peach State, but on Tuesday night in a contest against the Johnson Knights, they made a statement and then some. According to a report by the Gainesville Times’ Bill Murphy , the Trojans defeated the Knights by a final score of 46-0.

Per MaxPreps’ statistics, that was also the final score indicated between the two teams from Tuesday’s matchup. North Hall’s Jake Beard finished the game going 7 for 7 with 11 RBIs as the Trojans belted seven home runs in the game. Per the report, the win involved two mercy-rule applications, which is commonly used in high school baseball to end games early due to large margins.

To put the final score into full context, North Hall defeated Johnson in high school football by the final score of 63-0. Now between football and baseball, North Hall has out-scored Johnson by 109-0 in two specific games. When it comes to scoring runs for North Hall, that hasn’t been an issue for the Trojans at all this season as they have scored 10 or more runs in 13 of their 15 victories this season.

In total, the Trojans have scored 214 runs while their opponents have put runners across the plate 52 times. To put this fully into perspective, in the 2025 season, North Hall played Johnson in a 3-game series (April 1-4) and out-scored the Knights 39-0 in total. The Trojans beat that number by seven runs in just one game and still have two more games slated against the Knights slated for April 2-3.
