The Minnesota Twins need to figure out their franchise direction soon. Trade rumors swirled throughout the offseason but Minnesota decided not to move a number of star players. However, the Twins are not currently close to competing.
Could they shock the MLB world? Anything is possible, but the chances of this ball club realistically making a playoff run in 2026 are slim. In all reality, most people could have said that before the season even began.
Minnesota is 1-3 to begin the new campaign and the team does not look good by any means right now. We do not want to overreact to a 1-3 start. However, the Twins look like the team most people around the MLB world thought they would be.
