Following back-to-back home losses to the 76ers and Celtics Saturday and Sunday, the Charlotte Hornets were eager to et back into the win column Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets .

Entering the game, the Hornets had already clinched a top-10 seed in the Eastern Conference, earning them a spot in the Play-In Tournament. Charlotte was in control throughout the game, leading for 98% of the contest in what ended as a 31-point win. The Hornets held Brooklyn to 20% from shooting from three-point range and won the rebound battle 47-30.

Charlotte finished with six scorers in double figures, including Brandon Miller who scored a game-high 25. Moussa Diabate provided a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, while LaMelo Ball scored 14 points and reached a personal milestone in the process. Following the game, Miller spoke about Charlotte's run and their mindset to finish out the regular season.

"I think the heart is there, the heart is showing every night. We're competing at the highest level against any team on any given night and just building wins for the city of Charlotte. I think we've been doing a great job with that.
