Pistons secure Central Division title with win against Raptors

The Detroit Pistons' victory over the Toronto Raptors secured the team's first Central Division title after nearly two decades.

Detroit — The Detroit Pistons bounced back strongly after their heartbreaking loss in Oklahoma City just 24 hours earlier with a 127-116 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night inside Little Caesars Arena. With the win, the Pistons clinched their first Central Division title since 2008 and improved to 55-21 overall. Health gave Detroit a major boost when compared to its performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris, and Duncan Robinson all returned to the lineup after missing the previous game due to their respective injuries. Duren led the way in his return, finishing with 31 points (12 of 13 FG), nine rebounds, three assists and a block in 33 minutes. Daniss Jenkins added 21 points and five assists, while Duncan Robinson finished with 19 points on 5 of 7 shooting from deep.

RJ Barrett led Toronto with 24 points and six rebounds. Brandon Ingram added 22 points on 7 of 15 shooting. coty.
