Tuesday's Rangers-Devils game gave fans not only a fight, but one involving the goalies.

And there's only one thing better than a fight: A goalie fight. New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils fans in attendance on Tuesday night's rivalry game at Madison Square Garden were lucky enough to view that. While the Rangers led 4-1 in the third period, NJ Devil Paul Cotter made contact with Shesterkin in the Ranger goalie's crease.

This led many Rangers to jump all over Cotter, as contact with a team's goalie virtually always results in extracurriculars. After seeing this from the other side of the ice, Devils goalie Jakob Markstrom didn't want to be excluded and skated down the length of the ice to lock onto Shesterkin.
