With Terry the only legitimate weapon Jayden Daniels has to throw to, there was a thought the Commanders could look to acquire a receiver in free agency, but so far, nothing has transpired. One name we have heard repeatedly is San Francisco 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk. Set to be released by the 49ers due to reports of the franchise not being happy with his ACL rehab, it appears Aiyuk's days are numbered in San Francisco.

But as ESPN's John Keim writes, Washington isn't waiting around for Aiyuk to become available as they search for a weapons upgrade for Jayden. The Commanders won't trade for him, knowing the 49ers likely cut him at some point," Keim wrote . "But multiple Commanders sources made it clear they're not going to just wait on him and bypass other potential options.
