Panthers reportedly planning to hold joint practice with this team
The Panthers could be getting together with this team for joint practice during the summer . . .
The Carolina Panthers might be looking to prep against another Robert Saleh-led squad, according to Robert Saleh. Now the head coach of the Tennessee Titans , Saleh told reporters on Tuesday—from the NFL Annual League Meeting—that his team hopes to have a joint practice with the Panthers this summer. He stated that the Titans have requested the workout during Week 2 of the preseason, which could be followed by an exhibition matchup in Tennessee.
This would not mark the first summer get-together between the Panthers and Saleh, who was previously the head coach of the New York Jets. The Jets and Saleh visited Carolina for joint practices in both 2023 and 2024. Saleh goes back with Panthers head coach Dave Canales from their early NFL coaching days in Seattle.
The two shared a sideline as part of the Seahawks staff from 2011 to 2013. Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer confirmed the plans following Saleh's media availability in Phoenix, Ariz. Follow @ThePanthersWire on Twitter/X for more Panthers content.
