SEATTLE - Lefty Carlos Rodon is dealing with “a little tightness’’ in his right hamstring, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone. To what extent that further delays Rodon from returning to the rotation was not known Tuesday. Rehabbing from an October procedure to remove loose bodies near his pitching elbow, and to shave down a bone spur, Rodon last pitched on Sunday – tossing 50 pitches in three simulated innings.

Rodon’s estimated return to the Yankees’ rotation was roughly by late April. Boone said that Rodon, 33, notified the team about feeling some hamstring tightness during Tuesday’s running-conditioning work. What to expect: Yankee Stadium has a new food lineup for 2026.

Some will surprise you Rodon’s next rehab outing would’ve been Friday at the earliest. “We’ll see if that gets delayed at all,’’ said Boone, but the club’s initial belief is that it’s not an overly concerning development. Last year, Rodon made a career-high 33 starts and posted an 18-9 record with a 3.
