Warriors' Steve Kerr provides encouraging Stephen Curry update

According to Steve Kerr, Stephen Curry is set to scrimmage with the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday, March 31

The Golden State Warriors have been without Stephen Curry for 25 consecutive games. The sharpshooting guard has been dealing with a persistent knee injury. However, with the regular season winding down, it would appear the veteran guard is nearing a return to the court.

When speaking with the media on Tuesday, March 31, head coach Steve Kerr gave an encouraging update on Curry's current progress behind the scenes. He noted that Curry will not play in the April 1 matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, but has been practicing full contact, and would participate in a five-on-five scrimmage on Tuesday. "He went through full practice, but it was very late," Kerr said, via ESPN's Anthony Slater.

"We didn't do anything live. He's going to scrimmage right now, five on five. Good stuff for him...

He won't play tomorrow. I mean, we've got to see how he responds to the scrimmage... I'm just talking to Rick at scrimmage today and see how he feels tomorrow, and then we'll go from there.
