The star golf was arrested Friday after flipping his car in a collision near his Jupiter Island home.

Tiger Woods has pleaded not guilty to DUI charges in Florida after he crashed his Land Rover into a trailer Friday, leading to the former World No. 1 playerโ€™s arrest and an evening spent in the Martin County Jail. Woods was held for eight hours on charges of driving under the influence with property damage.

He blew a 0. 00 on two breathalizer tests but declined to submit to a urinalysis Friday. That triggered a relatively new Florida law under which drivers who refuse a breath or urine test face a second-degree misdemeanor charge, an automatic one-year driverโ€™s license suspension and up to 60 days in jail.

It was revealed Tuesday morning that officers found two hydrocodone pills in Woods' pants pocket after the crash. Officers at the scene gave him multiple sobriety tests and concluded that Woods was impaired. Multiple reports, including from TMZ , state that Woods pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Martin County Court.

That means Woods has waved arraignment and requested a jury trial. The golf star reportedly hired attorney Douglas Duncan to represent him in this case. Duncan also represented him in 2017 after Woods fell asleep at the wheel of his damaged vehicle on a busy South Florida street and was reported to have tested positive for five different drugs.
