Dodgers’ Ohtani, Tucker Given Honor Before Monday’s Game
Los Angeles Dodgers All-Stars Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Tucker received their Silver Slugger awards for the 2025 season Monday. The Silver Slugger award has been around since the 1980 season, and is given to the best offensive players in each league for every position. MLB has also given away a Team Silver Slugger award to the best offensive team in both leagues since 2023.
