Warriors' Draymond Green weighs in on potential Stephen Curry return
Draymond Green discussed Stephen Curry's potential return to the rotation ahead of the play-in tournament
Stephen Curry has missed 25 straight games for the Golden State Warriors. The veteran guard is dealing with a persistent knee injury. Yet, as we approach the final run of games, there's still hope that he will be cleared for an on-court return, which should give him some ramp-up time ahead of the play-in tournament.
In a recent episode of "The Draymond Green Show" podcast, Draymond Green shared his thoughts on Curry's current situation and whether we will see him back in the rotation before the end of the current season. โWhat I will tell you is, I donโt think Steph is getting shut down for the season," Green said. "I do know that Steph is doing all that he can to get back.
I do know that heโs progressing well on the court. And I do know that heโs very, very eager to get back out there. And what I can assure is whether itโs 1 regular season game, or 5 regular season games.
Steph wants to play. And heโs going to do all that he can, heโs been doing all that he can and things are really looking up. โ Getting Curry back will undoubtedly boost the Warriors' chances of successfully navigating a difficult play-in tournament run.
