| Stephanie Amador / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images Tuesday was a huge day for Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy. McCoy tore his ACL in January of 2025, so his Pro Day was the first time seeing him back in action on the field since that occurred. He put up some electric numbers according to those in attendance at the Tennessee Pro Day.
He tested well in the explosives with a 38โ vertical jump and a 10โ7โ broad jump. He was also clocked running a 4. 38 40-yard dash time.
If it werenโt for the injury, McCoy would have been considered a top-five draft prospect in this class, as he was coming out of summer scouting based only on the 2024 tape. McCoy had an 89. 6 coverage grade in 2024 with 44 tackles and 4 interceptions on the season.
