Donald Trump said Tiger Woods "lives a life of pain," but is "doing great" after a conversation the president had with Woods following his DUI arrest.
Donald Trump said Tiger Woods "lives a life of pain," but is "doing great," after a conversation the president had with Woods following his DUI arrest last week in Martin County. Trump told the New York Post he talked with Woods and said the 15-time major champion is under "tremendous physical pressure" from back and leg injuries. Added Trump: โI think heโs doing great, heโs doing good.
" Woods, 50, is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. Woods is facing charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test following a March 27 accident in Jupiter Island, not far from his home. Woods was arrested and released from jail that night and driven home in a private vehicle.
The wreck was the second time since 2021 that Woods has been in a crash in which his vehicle rolled over and the second time since 2017 he has been arrested on DUI charges. โHe tested negative for alcohol, as you know, and he is under a tremendous physical pressure from his various ailments, you know, the back and the leg,โ Trump, who lives in Palm Beach, said in the interview with The New York Post. โHe lives a life of pain.
