The Deshaun Watson talk has heated up this week.

Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Browns fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. With how quarterback Deshaun Watson’s tenure with the Browns has been a disaster, a lot of fans just want to be done with him already.

Over the past year, there have been groans when his workout/rehab videos come out, as many think, “surely he won’t actually see reps in a Cleveland uniform again, right? ” Then came the disaster of a quarterback situation last year. Eventually, Shedeur Sanders got his time to shine.

Even though there were a lot of flaws he needs to work on, he showed some of the tools to make one think, “Maybe, just maybe, he could be a starting quarterback in the future. ” With new head coach Todd Monken in charge, there was some degree of excitement on what he could do with Sanders, but we also know it’s not a guarantee he’ll be the starter. Lingering in the back of our minds was, “Is there a chance that Monken will want to see what he can do with Watson, before the team officially moves on from him?
