NFL announces next Hard Knocks participants, Season 3 of Quarterbacks
For fans of NFL reality TV programming, some exciting news was announced on Monday at the NFL League Meeting. Fans can expect two new seasons of Hard Knocks over the next two years, with the 2026 edition focused on training camp for the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and the 2027 edition focused on training camp for the New England Patriots. In addition, the Netflix series Quarterbacks is set to return for a third season this July.
Hard Knocks debuted in 2001 as an NFL Films production for HBO, following a team through training camp as they prepare for their upcoming season. It has often been described as the first sports-based reality series and has aired 26 seasons since its debut. In recent years, an in-season set of episodes has aired alongside the training camp feature, typically featuring different franchises.
The franchise for the 2026 in-season set of episodes was not announced. Quarterbacks is produced by NFL Films and Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions, and during its first two seasons, it followed NFL quarterbacks Marcus Mariota, Kirk Cousins, and Patrick Mahomes, with Joe Burrow and Jared Goff also featured. Whether the same five quarterbacks will be featured this season or if any new players will be added was not announced.
