Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddey is hoping for the best for Jaden Ivey after the latter was released by the Bulls this week for conduct detrimental to the team.
Ivey, who has been sidelined since February due to a sore knee, recently made controversial comments during a string of rants on social media, including calling out the NBA for promoting Pride Month while espousing his own religious beliefs. The former first-round pick appeared a bit unhinged in his videos, and his behavior has his now-former teammate hoping that he gets help. โโHeโs a very talented player,โโ Giddey said of Ivey.
โโObviously, the whole thing is kind of unfortunate in a way. I hope he gets the help he needs, whatever heโs going through or not going through. I do really hope he gets help.
Itโs not going to be with the Bulls anymore, but wherever it is, I hope he gets it. โโ This story will be updated. More NBA news : Lakers' J.
