Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball recruit Emily McDonald put on a show in the three-point contest at the McDonald's All-American game.

Shooters shoot, and on Monday night, Kentucky Wildcats women's basketball recruit Emily McDonald lit things up at the McDonald's All-American game's Sprite Jam Fest three-point contest. She showed off a touch that Big Blue Nation is going to love. McDonald is a 5'11" sharpshooter who comes to Kentucky from Long Island Lutheran in New York.

She is ranked by 247Sports as the number 38 overall player in the 2026 class, but showed that she's one of the group's best from behind the three-point line. In the finals of the girl's competition, McDonald barely missed, totaling 23 points to take the win. Then, she faced off against boys winner Jason Crowe and beat him 18-15.

It was an impressive showing for the future Wildcat. Kentucky is well-represented at the McDonald's game. McDonald is joined by Maddyn Greenway and Savvy Swords , both 2026 Wildcats commits as well.

They will join senior All-SEC center Clara Strack and other talented returners to make up what should be a very good team next season. Congratulations to Emily McDonald on the wins, and everyone in Lexington is excited to see you play next season.
