Mike Vrabel was asked about a tweet running back TreVeyon Henderson sent out Monday.

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel knows he’s walking “a fine line” when it comes to a recent tweet by running back TreVeyon Henderson. On Monday, Henderson raised some eyebrows when he appeared to show support toward ex-Chicago Bulls guard Jaden Ivey, who was waived Monday following anti-LGBTQ comments. Ivey criticized the NBA for embracing Pride Month, which he claimed was the league celebrating “unrighteousness.

” Hours later, the Bulls released Ivey for “conduct detrimental to the team. ” Upon hearing that news, Henderson responded with a Bible verse that read, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ” Vrabel was asked about Henderson’s tweet Tuesday.

The coach said he wants players to be able to express themselves, and also make sure they are educated. Vrabel’s full comment read : “I think there is a fine line. I want to tell you, I love TreVeyon.

I love the person. He cares deeply about our team. He cares deeply about his faith.
