Yahoo Sports

The Philadelphia Flyers (37-24-12) travel down to our nation’s capital to take on the Washington Capitals (37-28-9) at Capital One Arena in Washington, D. C. , on Tuesday.

Philadelphia has been heating up, and is one of, if not the hottest, team in hockey. The Flyers won four of their last five games, and are 8-1-1 over the last 10 games. They have won three straight games and are looking for a fourth, which they have not done in over two years.

The Flyers are also riding an 8-game road winning streak. Washington has been playing well lately as well, winning their last two games. The Capitals are 3-1-1 over the last five, and 6-2-2 over the last 10 games.

While they’re not exactly considered to be in the hunt, the Capitals sit just three points shy of ths that 86-point mark that the Flyers are at, and are still alive in the playoff hunt as well. Tuesday is a pretty big deal for the Flyers, on multiple levels. Puck drop is at 7:00 p.

m. EST at Capital One Arena. Here is how the Flyers are expected to line up.
