Former New England Patriots three-time Super Bowl champion James Develin was excited to see the team sign fullback Reggie Gilliam in free agency. Gilliam is believed to be one of the best fullbacks in the league, and he should help boost the rushing attack behind what the Patriots hope to be a much-improved offensive line in 2026. Develin knows a thing or two about strong fullback play after the eight seasons he spent in New England.
He didn't always receive the recognition, but he was a key member of multiple Super Bowl teams, which has earned him a spot on the Patriots' All-Dynasty Team. So his words about a fellow fullback should carry a lot of weight in New England. “Reggie can do it all," Develin said, via Patriots.
