Despite earning a top-15 overall grade at the safety position on the platform last season, he didn't command the same level of financial commitment as many of his peers. In fact, multiple safeties signed for more this offseason, even without matching his recent performance.
That means the Ravens landed him with an added price break, and that's exactly the type of move Baltimore has built its reputation on. Hawkins steps into a favorable situation alongside established starters, Kyle Hamilton and Malaki Starks. That pairing gives the Ravens one of the more dynamic safety duos in the league.
