Random Ramsdom: Team ready to move off Stetson Bennett?
Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 3/31/26

Either way, if the Rams are planning on nabbing Kirk Cousins or Jimmy Garopollo as their backup, where does that leave Bennett?
It’s not that Bennett is expected to beat out Cousins or Garopollo, longtime players, but if the Rams are already hoping to sign one or the other to backup Matthew Stafford, then is Bennett going to be a cut candidate this offseason? Has he done enough to hold down a spot on the roster? Do the Rams trust Bennett to play in NFL games in any meaningful way?
I don’t know, and it’s something I’ve been thinking about since yesterday. Maybe some of you have been thinking about Bennett and his fit on the roster longer. We’d love to hear from you!
I will say my friends and myself did win some Super Bowls this year (in Madden) with Bennett at the helm, so nothing but love from me. Bennett is etched in friendship immortality as far as I (and my friends) concerned. I don’t actually have friends.
