Bobby Portis names just two MVP-worthy players — and snubs Luka Doncic
Photo by John Fisher/Getty Images The NBA MVP race has become one of the most fiercely debated topics as the regular season nears its conclusion. Several superstars have built compelling cases through dominant individual performances and team success. Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama continue to sit at the centre of that conversation, all of them delivering consistent brilliance across the campaign.
With opinions forming across the league, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis has now weighed in with a clear stance on who truly deserves the award this season. Portis said: “In my honest opinion, it’s got to be SGA or Jokic.
Jokic is averaging another triple-double this season. He gets to it and he makes the game look so, so easy out there. “I watched him last night against the Warriors.
They were down a half. He just came out, dominated, and, you know, took over the game. “And then obviously SGA.
What he does for his team is, you know, I don’t want to say his name. He’s like Jordan, like for real. Nobody can guard SGA.
