Notre Dame’s director of recruiting trolls Penn State after RB commit

Yahoo Sports

Notre Dame football won the recruiting battle for RB Isaiah Rogers over Penn State, and the Irish’s director of recruiting trolled the Nittany Lions.

There is a budding rivalry between Notre Dame and Penn State , and while James Franklin is no longer leading the program, there is some friendly banter happening. On Monday was another opportunity for that, as the Irish and Nittany Lions along with Georgia and Indiana were finalists for 2027 running back Isaiah Rogers. The 4-star committed to Notre Dame , another win over PSU, although not on the field.

That gave the Irish’s director of recruiting Carter Auman an opportunity to poke fun as the Lions, and that’s exactly what he did. He posted on social media photo of Jeremiyah Love leaping over a PSU defender in the 2024 College Football Playoff. It will be interesting how Penn State responds, but if this continues, it would be great to see them setting it on the field instead of a keyboard.
