South Carolina women's basketball freshman Agot Makeer scored a career-high 18 points in the Gamecocks' 78-52 Elite Eight win over TCU.

1 seed Gamecocks (35-3) over No. 3 seed TCU (32-6) in the Elite Eight, winning 78-52 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on March 30. Makeer and South Carolina will face No.
1 seed UConn in the Final Four at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix on April 3 (7 p. m. ET, ESPN).
“Starting in the SEC Tournament I just started approaching games differently, and I feel like it wasn't just one-dimensional thinking,” Makeer said. “I just wanted to go and do whatever I can to get the team to win. So just in this tournament, I've just thought whatever I can do to get this team a win is what I need to do.
