Former Michigan State Spartan Porter Martone could make his NHL debut on Tuesday when the Philadelphia Flyers face the Washington Capitals in Washington. Martone signed a three-year, entry-level contract Sunday, one day after his college season ended with Michigan State's 4-3 overtime loss to Wisconsin in the Worcester Regional final of the NCAA Tournament. "We had expectations there at Michigan State to go on a deep run and hopefully make the Frozen Four," Martone told nhl.
