Ryan Preece enters the first NASCAR off-weekend with a positive gap to the Chase bubble during the 2026 Cup Series season.

Ryan Preece left Martinsville Speedway with a solid run that matches his position in the point standings. After the first seven races of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season, Preecee sits 13th in the standings with a 23-point advantage over the Chase bubble. Overall, it is a solid start for the RFK Racing driver.

Preece is the last RFK Racing driver in the standings behind Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher, but he isn't very far off.
